The GSMA now describes eSIM mass-market deployment as moving "from forecast to fact." The signal everyone understands is simpler: phones are shipping without a SIM tray. Apple removed it from US iPhones in 2022, and eSIM-only and eSIM-first devices are spreading across more markets and more brands every year. The physical SIM is not gone tomorrow, but the direction is no longer in doubt — and the companies that sell or depend on connectivity are the ones who have to move first.

For a brand, this is an opening. The same technology that lets a traveler scan a code and land connected lets any company sell its own connectivity — no card, no shipping, no store — as a product with its own name and price.

## What the shift actually forces

If your product touches connectivity — travel, retail, devices, field operations — "we'll add eSIM later" is quietly becoming "we are already behind." Customers increasingly expect to activate in seconds, in an app, without a plastic card in the mail. Meeting that expectation is now a competitive requirement, not a nice-to-have.

## What US Matrix eSIM gives you

Sell global data under your own brand, with your own packages and prices, in 180+ countries, managed by API or web portal. You create the plans, set the prices and serve your customers; we provide the coverage, the provisioning and the platform underneath.

> The SIM tray is closing. The question is whether your connectivity ships as a code, or does not ship at all.

The same platform handles IoT and connected-device profiles, so a travel plan today and a fleet of connected devices tomorrow run on one integration.

## Move while it is still an advantage

eSIM is crossing from early to expected. The brands that offer it now look modern; the ones that wait will look late. See how US Matrix eSIM works: [usmatrix.com/esim](https://usmatrix.com/esim), or talk to our team: [usmatrix.com/contact](https://usmatrix.com/contact).
